The Butler Division is proud to be the original Steel Dynamics mill and the first of the company’s many successful operations. The Butler Division consists of our main mill campus in Butler, Indiana, our IDI complex, also in Butler, and our finishing complex in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Our steel sheet products are produced at our electric arc furnace (EAF) mill in Butler, Indiana. Part of the Flat Roll Butler Division also includes our galvanizing and painting facilities in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
