Located in the Clark Maritime Centre on the banks of the Ohio River, SDI’s 260,000-square-foot facility has an annual capacity to galvanize 300,000 to 350,000 tons of cold-rolled steel produced at the Butler facility. The facility specializes in galvanizing thinner gauges, from 0.012 to 0.045 inches, and in widths from 40 to 61 inches. The facility also produces Galvalume®, acrylic-coated Galvalume® and acrylic-coated galvanized, and has the capacity to paint 190,000 tons annually on its state-of-the-art coil-coating line.
